Julian Brandon – Managing Director

Julian has four decades of construction industry experience, including 25 years in Director or Managing Director positions for national contractors. These contractors include Vinci, Morgan Sindall and Haymills.

He is uniquely multi skilled. He can manage the planning, budgeting and design management phase, and then the procurement and delivery phase. His approach and personal input is also approved by major bank funders.

Julian set up Brandon Consulting Services in 2016. After 35 years working for major contractors, the light dawned. There was a different way to do business. A way to eradicate conflict and waste.

He holds a degree in Engineering from Jesus College, Cambridge University (MA (Cantab) MICE C Eng).

Kat Mitchell – Director of Marketing Services

With over 13 years experience in communications, Kat has spent most of her career in the financial, technology and professional services markets.

She has worked in a range of positions both in-house and on the agency side.

Before joining Brandon Consulting Services, Kat was Content and Communications Manager for financial services technology company Defaqto.

Kat specialises in corporate, crisis, internal and financial communications. She is an award winning public relations professional, and whilst agency side has worked with clients both large and small. Client work has ranged from complete (re)organisation of marketing capabilities, through to day-to-day newsroom management and small social media consultancy projects.

As a former journalist, there is nothing Kat likes more than writing and editing content. The more complex and in-depth the subject matter the more appealing it is.

Kat has a degree in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History from Lincoln College, Oxford University.

Sharon Brandon – Finance Director

Before joining Brandon Consulting as Finance Director, Sharon ran a creative arts department for 15 years.

As part of her creative arts role, Sharon also managed many productions and musical events. She continues to co-manage the East Anglia Chamber Orchestra with Julian.

Sharon keeps us in line and makes sure we all get paid. She is also our resident problem solver, and a very useful sounding board for the rest of the executive team.

Sharon holds a certificate of extended professional competence, a PGCE, and has a degree in Music from the University of Birmingham.
